Bluetooth PIN request on Android
For users prompted to enter a PIN when pairing on Android
- 1.Turn your car on and let it run for 5 minutes. Turn it off. The objective here is to get the AutoPi to grab a small updated from the cloud. This is not a long update like others. As long as the device comes online as indicated by a solid green light, it should easily get this update.
- 2.Turn the car off. Give the device about 10 minutes to go to sleep before trying the pairing.
- 3.The AutoPi is now configured to SPEAK the PIN code when the phone prompts you. It will repeat the PIN 3 times out loud. Just type it in and hit pair. You can see an example of this below!
You should be good from here on out!
