How to bridge DIMO and participate in governance

How to view your $DIMO in your wallet

Click the 'Add Token' or 'Import Tokens' button in your wallet

If you're on the Ethereum Network, add ![[Pasted image 20221025102035.png]] 0x5fab9761d60419c9eeebe3915a8fa1ed7e8d2e1b as the contract address. The symbol will be DIMO and the decimal should be 18 if it doesn't populate it for you automatically.
If you're on POLYGON / MATIC the contract address will be
0xe261d618a959afffd53168cd07d12e37b26761db
the symbol and decimal remains the same.

Bridging from Polygon to Ethereum

visit https://wallet.polygon.technology/login?next=%2Fbridge
from there you will be asked to connect your wallet, and be prompted to switch to the correct network if you aren't on it already.
Once you sign a message (costs you nothing and is completely safe on this website), you'll be able to select the Bridge option, or go to https://wallet.polygon.technology/bridge
Select ' Withdraw'
and you should see 'Polygon chain' in the From section
click the dropdown and paste in 0xe261d618a959afffd53168cd07d12e37b26761db
click 'Add Custom Token' at the bottom.
then 'Add Dimo' on the next screen.
After that, you can close the box, and if you click the dropdown menu again,
you'll be able to search for and select DIMO
In the input field on the right, enter the amount of DIMO you wish to bridge.
Then hit the Transfer button.
Note: you will need MATIC tokens to pay the transaction fee to bridge.

Bridging from Ethereum to Polygon

visit https://wallet.polygon.technology/login?next=%2Fbridge
from there you will be asked to connect your wallet, and be prompted to switch to the correct network if you aren't on it already.
Once you sign a message (costs you nothing and is completely safe on this website), you'll be able to select the Bridge option, or go to https://wallet.polygon.technology/bridge
Select 'Deposit'
and you should see 'Ethereum chain' in the From section
You'll need to click the Dropdown here
paste in 0x5fab9761d60419c9eeebe3915a8fa1ed7e8d2e1b into the search bar
click 'Add Custom Token' at the bottom.
then 'Add Dimo' on the next screen.
After that, you can close the box, and if you click the dropdown menu again,
you'll be able to search for and select DIMO
In the input field on the right, enter the amount of DIMO you wish to bridge.
Then hit the Transfer button.
Note: you will need ETH tokens to pay the transaction fee to bridge.

How to Create a proposal on Tally

and click the 'Create new propsal' button on the right. or click here​
Choose the poll option if you want to conduct an off-chain proposal. Choose On-chain if you want a smart contract method to be executed if the proposal is passed.
After you connect your wallet and switch to the polygon network, fill out the form then click 'continue'.
If you chose Poll, select the default voting options and click continue.
If you chose On-chain,
paste in the contract address, and you'll be able to select the contract method in the drop down.
after you fill in the parameters for the contract method, click continue.
Finally, preview your proposal and submit your proposal.
