Eligibility

In order to be eligible for the airdrop, drivers must complete required pairing and verification steps for compatible vehicles and remain connected for a minimum of two full weeks. If you do not see the checklist, make sure you have the latest version of the DIMO Mobile app. At DIMO we’re committed to building a network of valid, trustworthy, and reliable data, which is the only way to create a network of value. This is the reason for the strict requirements.

If the airdrop happens before you complete these steps and hit two weeks, don’t worry. If you purchased a preorder device prior to November 13th, 2022 or connected your vehicle via a software connection prior to today, you will have three months from the initial airdrop to complete the steps and claim your portion of the airdrop.

Once your checklist is complete in the app, you’ll stay connected for two full weeks, then see the tokens show up on the next Monday when issuance is allocated. While we expect that all preordered DIMO Data Miners will be delivered in 2022, if for whatever reason yours is delayed to January 2023, you will have more time.

To get started, open up the DIMO Mobile app. If you don’t have it already, download it here, create an account, and add your vehicle(s).

For those who cannot connect a car and are collecting the airdrop as someone who referred other users, you only need to link a blockchain wallet to your account. This happens by default if you login with Wallet Connect, or you can tap profile in the bottom right, then add a wallet.
